Installation
No, the installer is the same. The full version will be activated by entering the activation code.
No. You can simply install the new version, which will overwrite the old version
There is no download link and no serial number. The plugin is installed automatically through Adobe Creative Cloud. If you don't find the plugin under "Stock and Marketplace-> Manage Plug-ins", you can use the search function in the Adobe Creative Cloud app and install it. After that, you should be able to find it under the above menu item.
If you receive an error in Adobe Creative Cloud, you can find all the codes listed at https://helpx.adobe.com/en/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-common-addon-installation-issues.html#find-your-error-code.
Please do a manual installation. (see description on page 3 of the Docma Freistellen manual).
This problem appears if you use Phothosp version 23 or newer. As of this version of Photoshop, Docma Freistellen is only compatible with the UXP version, which you can get from us for free if you have a license. Please send an email to our aupport.
Unfortunately we don’t have any trial for Docma Freistellen, but you will find in-depth videos on our tutorial website with the Photoshop Luminary Olaf Giermann. By the way Olafs videos are worth watching and informative, even if you don’t use our tool.
The presets of the plugins mentioned above are stored under following paths:
Mac: Macintosh HD/Benutzer/Benutzername/Picture Instruments/Plugin Presets
Win: C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Picture Instruments\Plugin Presets

The UXP plugins (such as APF-R or Docma Crop) are only compatible with Photoshop. For C++ plugins, there is theoretical support in Affinity Photo, but the interface does not seem to be fully supported by Affinity, so our C++ plugins (such as Warping Wheels or Color Cone) do not run in Affinity either. However, they do run alongside Photoshop in various video editing programs. There is currently no standalone version of our plugins.

Just do a right click on the program file and chose „open“ from the menu. With the next update there will be a notarized installer that will fix the problem. Subscribe to our newsletter to not miss any update releases.

For versions of our UXP plugins that were purchased and paid via the Adobe Creative Cloud, a desired refund must be requested from Adobe.
