About us

Who are we and what do we want?

We are a software company from Germany.

Our great passion for photography and all of its technology is our motivation. In our daily work with images and while experimenting with new techniques and workflow methods we get inspired to walk new paths that often directly influence the concepts and algorithms of our software-products. Because of our own work and our counseling jobs in the industry we are constantly challenged to reinvent processes. We would love to share the know-how that we gain along the way with other photographers and picture editors in the form of our software.

In addition to process optimization we also focus on the fun and joy a picture editor has with his or her work. These two factors let us aim for solutions that are clear and structured, easy to handle as well as intuitive and visually appealing. We thoroughly consider and rethink our products but we don't assume that they are perfect. We always have an open ear for constructive criticism.

Who is behind this?

After founding and developing the company Brainworx successfully with my partner, I decided to focus on my second passion – photography.

My experiences as a photographer (www.robinochs.de) and as panorama photographer (www.maxx360.de) constantly inspire me and give me ideas for Picture Instruments.
